Nicola Bramkamp

Artistic direction

Born in 1978, Nicola Bramkamp studied German literature, drama and theatre studies and business studies in Berlin and Bochum. From 2002 to 2004 she was the leading project manager of the theatre festival “Impulse”. From 2004 to 2013 she worked as dramaturge at Theaterhaus Jena and the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg before she started working at the Theater Bonn in autumn 2013 as artistic director in the drama department. 2014 Nicola Bramkamp and Andrea Tietz developed the theatrical format SAVE THE WORLD, an art meets science festival with the desire to enthuse a broad public for complex themes. 2017 they created the official cultural program for the opening of COP23. In 2017 Nicola Bramkamp received the Emotion Award (category: women in leadership) for her commitment to open the theatre to issues such as climate change and women’s rights. Nicola Bramkamp also teaches “story telling” and “dramaturgy” at various art colleges.

Andrea Tietz

Artistic direction

Andrea Tietz works since 1997 as a freelance producer and curator for theatre. Since 2007 she is coordinator and lecturer of the degree program “directing and acting” at the Theaterakademie Hamburg, University of Music and Theatre Hamburg. From 1996 to 2006 she worked as a project manager for international guest performances and productions at Kampnagel Hamburg, Germany’s most important stage for performing arts. 2014 Nicola Bramkamp and Andrea Tietz developed the format SAVE THE WORLD.
