Research. Experiment. Invent.

An art and knowledge camp for young people age 14 to 18.

What is a killer jeans? Can we teach robots to tidy up? What is my smartphone made of? And how is driving in Germany connected to floods in Asia? If you are interested to find out, then you are in the right place at YOUNG PLANET 2016. Whether hobby researcher, philosopher or lateral thinker - in the autumn holidays from October 11 to 16, the Theater Bonn invites you to a round-trip into the future. Also on board: artists, experts and lots of exciting topics around the environment, technology and life in the future. You can take part in one of our workshops.

You will spend two workshop days at well-known institutions such as the United Nations, where you will learn more about your workshop topic. Then you have three days to artistically implement your ideas together with the workshop leaders - artists from music, film and theater. On Sunday you present your results in a public knowledge show, moderated by the well-known WDR television presenter Ralph Caspers. Afterwards you end the camp with friends and family at an aftershow party.

YOUNG PLANET 2016 is not a competition. First and foremost, it is about creating a space in which you can deal with exciting topics and present your thoughts live on stage. Let's save the future!
